Great accommodation for 6 people in close location to town Positive: Great property just a short walk from town, exceptionally clean with all modern facilities. Quick communication with host, I would definitely recommend. Negative: Nothing

Positive: If you're planning to visit the lake district and are reading this, just stop reading and book it - perfect in every way. One street away from the shops and restaurants, sparkling clean and tastefully designed. The car park pass was a great little additional perk. Thanks for a great vacation!

Gable End was an ideal place for our multigenerational group to stay. It was right in the middle of everything in Ambleside, which gave everyone from 19 to 79 something fun to do all day. They stocked the cottage with supplies and a bottle of prosecco for us to enjoy, plus we had a fun time playing some of the games in the downstairs living area. It was the perfect home base for exploring the Lake District. I’d book again in a heartbeat!
