Sage Cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath, Central Windermere

Spacious and cozy cottage in a great location! Positive: Central location in walking distance to cafes, pubs and grocery stores, as well as great hikes and the train station. The cottage was very spacious and ideal for two couples or a family. Also great to have a fenced-in yard for dogs. Negative: It would've been great if the kitchen had a few more staples, such as tinfoil for cooking, etc.

Positive: Well located, perfect for two couples and a dog! Loved the log burner so cosy My only criticism is would have been nice to have a Christmas tree

Cottage was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. Secure outdoor area if your taking your dog.

Lovely cottage stay in the heart of the Lake District Positive: Excellent location close to Windermere centre but quiet and cosy. House very well equipped, especially for young children, very pleased to find a cot, high chair and even a stair gate! A lovely stream running past the property providing a lovely background sound for the weekend. There's also a great play park next door, ideal for busy toddlers. Negative: Not much! I couldn't find any firewood for the fire on arrival, but that's an easy fix. For a larger group the kitchen could be a bit small, but for us as a family of 4 it was fine.
