Central, comfortable
Positive: Very central — a short walk to everything in Ambleside. The parking space is a genuine plus, though it really only suits a small or medium car. The apartment was well presented; most appliances worked fine, a couple were temperamental. Utensils and kitchen kit were adequate rather than generous.
Special mention to the host, who was extremely accommodating when I'd miscounted my nights and needed to check out late. Handled with real generosity.
Negative: Nothing comes to mind.
