Aspen Suite, The Old Bank House

Positive: Great location despite the very noisy clientele at the pub across the road Negative: Everything in the flat is new with giant televisions everywhere. However the mattresses are Instagram foam things that are so awful and make for a horrible and painful night's sleep. You have the brochure on the table for the good mattress shop across the road but actually have cheap foam/air mattresses on the beds. Maybe an earlier guest left the brochure to suggest you get something better. Guests are there to get a night's sleep. That should be priority 1 when you're budgeting, not tvs.

Relaxed and enjoyable stay, can’t wait to return. Positive: Property was on the first floor, in an excellent location. Shops, cafes, restaurants and bars were on your doorstep. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. TV’s in every room. The kitchen was well stocked, with dishwasher, washing machine,coffee machine, etc. everything you need for a self catering holiday. Any questions, were answered promptly by email. Negative: One minor point, the windows needed cleaned outside.

Lovely holiday - beautiful place Positive: The apartment looked brand new and was beautiful. Couldn't fault anything about the apartment at all. The main plus for us was the location - very central. Also our own parking space was a bonus as we used the bus all week so the car didn't move till we went home. Negative: The television was huge but had a lot of problems as the wifi kept going off found that a nuisance.

Positive: Location very central which has pros and cons Well kitted out Very clean Negative: Opposite a very busy bar that has music till 0100 Friday/Saturday..not sure if that was just this week.. nothing apartment can do but may be a nuisance for some.

Excellent stay apart from the wine glass incident. Positive: Very clean and comfortable property. Great space, facilities and location. We really enjoyed our stay at Aspen Suite and highly recommend this property. Negative: The wine glass at the property are too thin and fragile. Accidentally cracked one with the slightest contact with the tap and cut myself on another whilst very very careful drying the extremely thin rim which must have had a sharp point on it.
