Brantwood - 4 bed home Ambleside

Great place, would stay again. Positive: A great house, great design and really clean. Location is also great. Negative: Potentially clearer wording about the parking permit - we ended up getting a ticket for parking outside the house.

Lovely relaxing trip! Positive: The host went above and beyond for our booking with a fantastic guidebook for the house and the area, leaving some prosecco for us in the fridge on arrival as well. The house was perfect and very cosy literally in the heart of ambleside so a great location too. The parking wasn’t too difficult but I recognise we went out of peak season, theres a 3 day parking permit for £21 you can get in the long stay car parks as well which was helpful as we could leave the cars and forget about them. Negative: Nothing

Positive: This property is amazing! It is such a beautiful little house, very clean, well stocked, and has plenty of room. The location could not be better, the views of Ambleside are stunning, and the quaint back garden area is enough to relax in. The property managers are very quick to respond and gave us thorough information before arrival. The parking pass was much appreciated! We could've stayed for much longer and will definitely keep Brantwood in mind for a return! Negative: It's a bit loud at night for the top floor bedroom with a window that faces the main street.
