Relaxing stay in cute cottage.
Positive: The cottage was very clean and well equipped, location good, mostly away from the bank holiday crowds. Excellent location for car ferry.
Negative: Hot tub didn’t work fully, some jets not working.
Road outside busy with bank holiday traffic, so quite noisy at times throughout the day.

Positive: We loved the location
Negative: There was a lot of damp in the lodge, very little ventilation (which meant we didn't cook), the hot tub was broken and we found a pair of knickers next to it. There was also a lot of construction going on next door.

We had a relaxing and chilling time at the Squirrel Bank cottage
Positive: We enjoyed the peacefulness, location it was very clean too
Negative: The spa jet wasn't all working at one time. The TV remote didn't have a back, so the batteries kept falling out

Cosy welcoming cottage
Positive: When we arrived at the cottage it was very nice and cosy, clean and tidy with everything you could need, well equipped kitchen, cosy sofa, with throws which was nice while sat watching a movie.
the bed was comfortable, with clean fresh linen, towels and 2 robes. good wifi connection. Even little TV in bedroom. We loved our 2 night break away and would return in the future.
Negative: The hot tub was nice but only one half of the jets worked, I'm not sure if the owners are aware of this though. The noise from the cars driving past the cottage was quite bad, even with the double glazing!!
Also the bin wagon arrived very early 6am on the Tuesday morning and had a full blown conversation outside the bedroom window, with was quite annoying.

We had an amazing experience and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a short break away.
Positive: The hot tub was fantastic, we really enjoyed our time here. The rooms were comfy and we felt settled straight away.
Negative: The bathroom door got caught on the floor when fully opened, it wasn’t a problem but something that could be fixed.
