Sylvan Wood, Gorgeous Views, Kendal, Lake District

Positive: Very nice and cozy house! We loved our stay. Negative: Nothing really. A bit of a walk to things but if you want to stay in and enjoy, that’s the place.

Positive: Gorgeous house with big windows in the gathering places (dining room and living room). Perfect for family and close group of friends. The designs of the rooms are privacy enough for different group of couples. Negative: Be mindful about toilet with septic tanks as it is easy blocked with flushed tissues.

All bar the lack of TV was fine. Negative: I and my friends were very disappointed to find that there weren't any conventional TV channels given that we were all in our seventies which the owner when I rang explained was because they didn't pay for a TV Licence.

Clean, spacious, with wonderful views, we loved it all. Positive: Very welcoming, both the communication and the home itself; there was privacy for 3 couples but combined with large communal areas, a kitchen/dining room as well as living room, both with big picture windows, giving you great views of the hills; walks across the hills start at the end of the drive; Kendal is a lovely town, with good facilities, and easy access to the Lake District. Negative: Perhaps some extra blankets?
