Owd Pegs Cottage-Traditional Cottage in the centre

Amazing and perfect for a weekend's relaxation Positive: Location was amazing and made us feel really part of Bowness. Parking facilities were great and the cottage cosy, Laik, were fantastic hosts and as we had a couple of personal issues, they were amazing and very quick to respond and help, which meant we could still have a great couple of nights albeit a few days after our intended stay.

Great location, great for a few friends for a few days, enjoy Positive: Location on town is fantastic , minutes from all the pubs ,restaurants and Pier. Negative: Need to get a fire going in loving room to get really cosy ,but we didn't bother as out a lot.

Owd Peg's provided an excellent home from home for a wonderful short break in the Lake District. Positive: This traditional self-catering well equipped 3 double bedroomed (2 with ensuite and additional house bathroom) cottage didn't disappoint. Owd Peg's is centrally located in Bowness on Windermere close to restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, great walks and local attractions, with a parking permit for a car park very close by. Owd Peg's is well-maintained has comfortable furniture and beds with quality bedding. A great place to base for a visit to Windermere. Negative: Owd Peg's is spread over three floors with steep steps which may be a challenge for anyone with any balance or mobility challenges.
