Yewbeck: garden views and pet friendly

Lovely property, management company not great. Positive: The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the dining area was well equipped. Property was handily located between Bowness and Windermere. Negative: 1) Cleanliness - on arrival, we found cooked instant noodles on the living room floor. We came with a dog, and although we cleaned up what we could see we’re pretty sure he ate some (good thing he’s not especially sensitive to any foods). Leading us to 2) Management - when we informed Laik (who were managing the property) about the above, no apologies were offered and instead signposted us to the cleaning company, saying we could get in touch with them for a clean - which feels like it should’ve been something Laik should have done instead?

Great communication throughout the booking process and throughout our stay. Positive: Great location and the house was lovely and spacious. Negative: Some gates would have been good to keep the garden secure when having dogs.

The stay was relaxing, comfortable and just superb. Positive: The quietness and peace. Walking distance to the Lake. House was very warm and cosy. Views were great. Everything that you needed was there. One of the best if not, the best, booking.com places we have stayed in. Would defiantly recommend and stay in it again. Negative: Needed lighting on the drive leading up to the house.
