Overall, we loved the apartment location and facilities. Definitely recommend to others and we’d stay again. Positive: Apartment was a short walking distance to Lake Windermere, cafes and Beatrix Potter Museum. The rooms were comfortable and the washing machine/dryer proved useful. Off-street parking was a blessing. Negative: Probably a minor thing but the wall and radiator stains lowered the apartment standard. Lower shower rose kept falling off the holder.

Pleasant flat in a convenient location. Positive: The flat was well situated for easy reach of Windemere and Bowness on Windemere (about a 20 minute walk to both) and in a quiet road. The amenities were good and it was spacious. We appreciated the responsiveness of the agency when we reported a problem (see below). Parking was available outside the building which was very convenient. Negative: The flat hadn't been cleaned when were arrived but a phone call to the agency quickly resolved the problem and they sent someone within the hour. The washing machine didn't work and was not repaired while we were there but this had no impact on our stay.

Positive: Very clean. Everything you need. Great location and parking. Minimalistic which I like. Negative: The washing machine wasn’t working. We were contacted in advance and given the option to cancel, which was nice. But it wasn’t really an option as I’d already hired a car and booked time off. Wasn’t a huge deal but would have been nice to be offered a small discount or even a bottle of wine as a gesture of apology. Tiny thing - the plant by the sofa has very much died a death so perhaps time to throw away but everything else was very good.

Perfect break and will be back Positive: Very modern and spacious for two couples with a dog . Close to Bowness centre. Beresfords Bar on the corner is dog friendly downstairs in the bar and you can have a meal . Rastellis Italian on the way back up the road to the apartment do takeaway which is perfect to collect on way home Negative: Nothing to report
