Loughrigg Cottage -private house with a hot tub

Beautiful cottage, stylish and secluded. Lovely hosts. We'll definitely return. Positive: Great location, secluded and peaceful. Easy access to Ambleside by car (it is walkable along a main road). The house is very thoughtfully curated. Interior decor is lovely - lots of stylish individual touches and soft furnishings. Beds exceptionally comfy - we slept like logs. Great quality bedding and accessories. Hot tub was brilliant - sadly being winter we couldn't fully make use of the terrace but imagine it will be perfect in the warmer months. Kitchen very well equipped, everything you need if you're planning to cook (even had a hand blender!). Hosts were terrific, responsive, helpful and kind. We would definitely return. Negative: The outside entrance area needs a bit of TLC, The hot tub decking needs some mats but we were offered an interim solution until some are purchased.

Beautiful cottage near Ambleside, recommended! Positive: Beautiful cottage! So comfortable, lovely furnishings. Large bedrooms, comfortable beds. Large kitchen with everything you could need Beautiful hot tub, we were there in winter, but I imagine the large terrace area would be wonderful in the summer Luxurious living room, lots of seating, just perfect! Great communication with the owners! Negative: It was difficult to find the exact entrance in the dark, a light over the sign on the gatepost would be helpful

Positive: Well-equipped house with a beautiful garden. Nice bathtub on the terrace. Very close to hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay.

Family holiday, fabulous. Didn't want to leave! Positive: A beautiful cottage, like staying in a 5*hotel. My kind of place.
